iOS Security Flaw Allows Unauthorized Access to Your iPhone's Camera Roll Without Passcode [Video]
We've already seen security flaws in iOS 5 and iOS 5.0.1 that allow unauthorized access to someone to make FaceTime calls, access iPhone Contacts and even make calls without entering the passcode.
Cult of Mac report that folks at iPatch - a iPhone, iPad and iPod touch repair company have discovered another security flaw that allows unauthorized access to your iPhone's camera roll without the need to enter the passcode.

NOONE IS GONNA GO THRUW ALL THAT FUKIN TROUBLE TO OPEN A PHONE REMOVE A BATTERY, TAKE OUT THE SIM.. JUST TO CHECK OUT PHOTOS. INSTEAD OF ALL THAT, JUST INSERT THE SIM INTO A SIM-READER AND EXTRACT CONTACTS, PHOTOS & CALL LOGS.. DONT CALL THIS A SECURITY FLAW, CALL THIS A DUMBASS TAKING THE PHONE APART TO LOOK AT PHOTOS.

If you connect an iPhone to a computer, you can view & pull pictures from it. So anyone who has access to the phone can easily do this with the phone locked.
-
idiot nothing is saved on the sim card:))
-
No you cannot access the camera roll from a computer while the phone is locked. At least not from MY iPhone 4s.
-
yes you can. try looking up "ifunbox" on google.

Once an IPhone (even locked) is connected to a computer (a PC in my case), it shows up as a portable device when you look in the Computer folder. Click on the phone. The folder(s)where all of the phone's photos are stored will be visible. You can view the photos by just opening the folders. I've been transferring my photos this way since I got my 3GS and now my 4S, when I don't feel like syncing.

But if the phone has a pass code that functionally on works if the device is unlocked.

Ha, that's exactly what I thought...

The contacts on an iPhone are all saved to the device not the sim card.
