T-Mobile USA Lost 706,000 Contract Customers Last Quarter; Blames It on iPhone 4S Launch
T-Mobile USA posted revenues of $5.2 billion and OIBDA of $1.4 billion in the fourth quarter of 2011, compared to revenues of $5.3 billion and OIBDA of $1.37 billion in the fourth quarter of 2010.
T-Mobile USA also lost a whopping 706,000 branded contract customers in the last quarter, which it has blamed on the launch of Apple's iPhone 4S. It was the first time since Apple launched the iPhone that it was available on three major U.S. carriers.

I'm actually proud to be a customer of the only major US carrier that hasn't gone the way of Apple fanboyism. Sad day when T-mobile carries that overrated phone.

they lost their customers because the ended their unlimited plans. the only thing t-mobile had going for them was the unlimited everything go plan for like 70 bucks. they dont have anything like it now.

I still think not having the iPhone is to blame. AT&T is no better with what you mentioned but people stay because of the iPhone.

As a T-Mobile customer, I will tell you... They suck! In every aspect of the word. I will be switching carriers. I'd rather just give the 250 and call it a day cuz their service is pathetic.

I looked at buying one when I upgraded phones, but it had no features that many other smartphones didn't already have. Siri alone is not worth buying a new phone. Even the people I know that have 4s admit they only use Siri to show people Siri and never actually use it for anything...

Wow, really! Your looking at it as a fanboy. I had an iPhone since day 1. Now, and iPhone isn't an iPhone until its jailbroken. A Galaxy S 11/ even the evo is better than an UNjailbroken iPhone.
