Best Buy Slashes iPad 2 Price by $50; iPad 3 Launch Imminent
Best Buy has slashed the price of all iPad 2 models by $50, indicating that the launch of the highly anticipated iPad 3 could be anytime soon.
The entry level 16GB iPad Wi-Fi only model is available for only $449.
Engadget also reports that Best Buy is also updating iPad 2 inventory with a "Deleted" status, which is typically a sign that the vendor is phasing out the model.

About a week after iPad 2 was launched AT&T website "Slashed" the iPad 1 about 50%. Free 2nd day shipping.....I bought a 64gb 3g for around $429... I plan on getting an iPad 2 if they do the same this time around....I doubt iPad 3 will offer anything that would be worth the asking price..remember..Apple usually disappoints with their announcements. IPhone5 turned out to be 4S...iPad3 could be iPad 2S.. Anyway...we'll see...
