Deck: Upcoming Jailbreak Tweak Will Add Hot Bar to iPhone SpringBoard
Folks at SBCoders - who call themselves "a band of makeshift software developers" are planning to release a new jailbreak tweak called Deck.
The jailbreak tweak will add a hot bar to your jailbroken iPhone's SpringBoard.
With a cleaner UI and new features, it allows you to access useful system functions right from SpringBoard
The hot bar can be accessed by swiping to the left on the top right corner of the Status bar.

I wish they would stop bringing out tweaks like this, I have to have them but my poor battery can't take anymore, am I the only one with a tethered jailbreak? (and I mean tethered to my power lead!)

Unless I miss understood part of the video, you can set a different activation method. It's jus that the swipe left is the default setting.
