Apple's App Store Hits 25 Billion Downloads Milestone

Apple has just hit the 25 billion app downloads milestone.

Apple had launched the 25 Billion App Countdown promotion to celebrate the milestone couple of weeks back. The user who downloads the 25 billionth app from the App Store will get a $10,000 App Store gift card.

Apple hasn't announced the winner of the promotion yet.

When Apple launched the App Store on July 10th, 2008, even they would not have thought in their wildest imaginations that it would end up becoming such a huge success.
