Apple Unveils 'The New iPad'; Comes With Retina Display, 5MP Rear Camera, Faster A5X Chip, Supports 4G LTE Networks
Apple today unveiled the third generation of the iPad at its media event this morning.
The new iPad, as expected, features a higher resolution Retina display, a better front camera, a faster processor and supports faster 4G LTE networks. The design remains largely the same with slight changes in dimensions.

well, no siri, and base model is 16 GB, and most of these rumers were fake exept the retina, design,A5x chip and 4g LTE, idk why but i expected more, i had my hopes up tooo high.im still getting one though, i sold all my ios devices, ipad and itouch, i cant survive without a IOS device lol

well yea it is pretty nice, but the camera is useless because iPad cameras are rarley used. I personally wont upgrade from my iPad2 but i would think people into video and picture editing would like it. Also people with good 4g networks might wanna upgrade. ATT HAS A TERRIBLE 4G BECAUSE IT HAS LIKE NO COVERAGE ANYWHERE JUST TO LET YOU GUYS KNOW. but yea based on preference i am not upgrading

Damn. I just heard apple released ios 5.1. I am in the office at the moment and need to rush home after work to save my 5.0.1 ipad 2 shsh blobs. Hopefully it's not too late.

Disappointed with processor update. Actually, I enjoy non-mp4 videos. It is very high processor load. It will be very difficult to support the natuve resolution with A5x. Because of stream processing load is too high. Graphics also, the pixel number is 4times, but, just double performance. I have expected at least 8~10x using PowerVR 6 series.Actually, Applecan not define the name yet, because of some unbalanced process(CPU&GPU) power up. I may need to wait one more year for New design, A6 processor to fully support the advantage of retina display
