4G LTE Plans And Pricing For The New iPad
Pricing for 4G iPad plans are live on Apple's online store, both for AT&T and Verizon.
Both carriers offer 5GB monthly usage for $50.
Although the pricing on Apple's online store says that for $30 both AT&T and Verizon would give you 2GB of monthly data, according to MacRumors AT&T's plan in fact offers you 3GB and not 2GB of monthly usage, thus making it a better option than Verizon in case you're exploring this price bracket.

I waited a year due to rumers of the 3 & already preordered & now see $50 a month. Wtf that's way too much.

Wait, when did at&t ever release a 3g unlimited for the ipad? I don't ever recall that plan.

Little on the expensive side.

When the very first iPad with 3G launched in late April of 2010, the unlimited data plan was offered for iPad users at $29.99. AT&T discontinued it June 2nd of 2010 so only those who pre-ordered really managed to get it. I have it now and am grandfathered for unlimited LTE on AT&T, and it really is fantastic. I dread the day they throttle me.
