CBS Turned Down Steve Jobs' Offer to Join Subscription Video Service For Apple Television
At an entertainment symposium in Los Angeles, CBS CEO Leslie Moonves said that he was approached by Steve Jobs a year ago about a content licensing deal for the much rumored Apple Television, which he turned down.
Jobs' wanted CBS to provide their TV shows and films for Apple's "subscription content service," which included a clause wherein CBS was supposed to split ad revenues with Apple.

Im just waiting for the TV to arrive. However its started to be expensive with the iPhone, iPad, iMac, MacBook Pro and maybe a TV this year. But screw it. Quality and design costs money. A "simple" B&O TV cost more than all the above items combined and I don't think it will be better then Apple's future TV.

CBS made a mistake, they still get a second chance to rectify it.
