How to Check Apple's Retina Display Enhanced Website in Safari on Mac or PC
Apple calls the new iPad - "Resolutionary" on their website thanks to the Retina Display, which features a a 2048-by-1536 resolution, 44 percent greater color saturation and an amazing 3.1 million pixels, which is four times the number of pixels in iPad 2 and a million more than your HDTV.
To truly appreciate the third generation iPad's Retina Display, Apple has been quietly updating their website with high-resolution images to ensure it is ready for the launch.

Shouldn't that be: AC.ImageReplacer._devicePixelRatio = 2; new AC.ImageReplacer();Without the semicolon after the 2 an error is thrown.

get a life. no. really. I don't mean that to insult...but all the fuss over a little higher resolution. it's like the old debate of vacuum tubes vs semi conductors in audio equipment. only 5% of the population even notices, and 1% cares.

a bit better on my notebook. hopefully it will be much better on the "New Ipad" I still dislike that name. wonder what they call 4th generation ipad. The Newer Ipad? The New Ipad 2?

it's just like the iPod touch its not called the iPod touch 4 it just is a different gen with the same name it was dumb for them to name the iPad 2 the iPad 2 it should've been the new iPad to keep from confusion from occurring
