A "Brutally Honest" Review of The New iPad
After several months of rumors and speculations, Apple's new iPad is finally here. It comes with a number of new features and improvements such as the stunning Retina Display, A5X chip with quad-core graphics, vastly improved 5-megapixel iSight camera, 1GB RAM and supports faster 4G LTE networks.
You have probably read the new iPad reviews from the experts, which have generally been quite positive.

Out of "batteries?" Come on now, this guy is a tool who doesn't know wtf he's even talking about. But it was actually a funny clip until he made the "batteries" comment. That ruined it for me. Someone should have caught that.

FedEx dropped off my ipad 3 hrs ago and It might just be me but i don't see anything special about the display. I have the ipad 2 and the new ipad and after playing the same clips on ABC and CNN, i would say i didn't see anything to cry about. Maybe other apps might be better but for right now it's no biggie

Actually, it has been pointed out that the higher ppi reveals itself while reading text (web browsing and ebooks) and/or graphics (gaming). Those two areas in particular.

iOS5, I am eagerly awaiting a wifi spot so I can turn mine on, but were you using the CNN and ABC apps? I haven't seen either of those updated to support the new display, so perhaps that's why there isn't any difference between the two. Until they update the apps I'm assuming it would use the same resolution as the Ipad2. I could be wrong, but that would be my first guess.

I walked into Walmart about an hour ago and bought two of the new IPads, I didn't have to wait in line or anything. LOL Giving our old ones to the Grand Kids they make a great educational tool.

I'm currently at work and plenty wifi. Like i said, i do see a difference but maybe i'm just so use to the iPad 2 display. I will try some of the updated apps and see.

the clips arent going to look different beacuse its coming from the same source as before. thats like crying about how your hd tv looks the same as your tube tv when your watching the same sd channels you were watching before.
