New iPad (3rd Generation) Jailbroken Using Third Method
This may sound crazy but the jailbreak community now has three methods to jailbreak the new iPad on iOS 5.1.
The first one was revealed by the iPhone Dev team (they probably would have set a Guinness world record if there was one for the fastest jailbreak for an iOS device), ic0n1c quickly followed it up by releasing a video demoing of his untethered jailbreak for the new iPad.

Let's get another super "Dream Team" joining forces together. With all that brain-power and out-of-the-box thinking, they'll probably have the untetherred JB by next weekend! Maybe even before those A$$h0les working for Apple or those ungrateful saprophytes have time to write in to diss them!

I hope they keep two of the methods hidden until iOS 6.0 is released. No sense in exposing all three to Apple to potentially fix.

Relax bro, ipad 2 was hard to jb coz around the same time came the BIG ios 5.0. Devs had a hard time to get around with it. Now since 5.1 is actually an upgraded subversion of its parent 5.0, the devs are more familiar, hence the speed of happy thankguving to us.

I was going to say the same thing.... please please only release one method ... save the others for 5.1.1 5.1.2 5.2 etc ..... no use wasting exploits just because everyone wants their own name and credit on one ... your one team with the same goal. don't get headstrong about who gets the credit.

Post-Job's Apple might have decided to soften their stance on Jailbreaking.

Maybe we have to thanks a Apple for this "bugs" . So thanks to the jailbreak they sell more devices.
