Samsung's Design Chief Responds to Allegations of 'Blatantly Copying' Apple Products
Reuters provides an interesting insight into Samsung, the South Korean electronics giant, who is one of Apple's business partner that makes some critical components for its iOS devices such as Retina Display, chips etc.
Samsung is also one of Apple's biggest rivals in the smartphone market, who has been accused by Apple for slavishly copying its products.

Design is easy. Pretty much any 2nd year design school student can do it.It's getting from design to reality that is tricky.Jobs' driving obsession is how Apple managed that. But Apple has no track record of being able to execute an excellent design through to product, without Jobs.The thing about design: there is no resting on your laurels. Ask any fashion designer. You design, it's popular, it's imitated. You need a new design.Putting aside the physical design, and pure droid4 (without the ISP and Samsung junk), Samsung should hand it's head in shame for Kies. Worst. Software. Ever.

You guys are all losing site.. This article refers to Samsung's designs in hardware, not their bootleg touch-wiz version of Android.

Imitation is the best form of flattery but not in the business world. Samsung is a copycat, why cant they produced like Nokia lumina not like iphone clone galaxieeees (so mannnny varieties of them :-))
