this is cool..but for someone like me that mainly only listens to mixtapes it won't help me...

How does this compare to iTunes Match, which is $5 cheaper?
-
Also, 'automagically' is not a trademark, any more than 'steering wheel' or 'mp3' is.
-
TuneUp is a complimentary service. You should ideally first use TuneUp to clean up and organize your music collection and then enable iTunes Match.

I've had this program for years now, it works fairly well but I used it initially to clean up the thousands of wrongly labeled songs i had get the album art with only minor mistakes. Once it tidied up that mess Ive found very little use for it after that.

A service that is complimentary cannot cost... $30USD. It would not be complimentary. You may mean complEmentary; this would indicate that TuneUp and iTunes Match work together. In any case, the price is wrong. So is the explanation above, but at least that is truly free.

I have it and iTunes match. It renamed named some songs wrong and even renamed 1 or to in Japanese.I found it to be more work than I wanted to do as it gives two or three possible options as to what the song maybe so I didn't want to go through hundreds of songs so I just clicked save all.I also have iTunes match which keeps the track info even if it has been saved wrong. So now I'm down a bit of money and I don't really know how much better off I am.The miss's hates iTunes match because she can't just sync her music on anymore she'll have to download every song...

Spotify is free and will allow you to fix your music info through fingerprinting too. You pay for spottily if you want to sync to your mobile devices or stream the music from spotify. The only thing I don't think it does is the remove duplicates. Which I think there are other programs that can do that part.Anyway, anyone try both? How would you compare them? Spotify uses gracenote for fingerprinting; so I am wondering if this match program does the same.
