iPad 3 Vs. iPad 2 Vs. ASUS Transformer Prime Vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1: CPU And Graphics Performance Compared
During the iPad media event, senior VP of worldwide marketing Phil Schiller claimed that the Apple's new A5X chip with quad-core graphics, which powers the new iPad offers 4 times the graphics performance of NVIDIA's 12-graphic-core Tegra 3 - the benchmark processor for Android-based tablets.
The initial benchmark tests carried out by an Australian Tech blogger revealed that Apple's A5X chip indeed offers close to 4 times the graphics performance of NVIDIA's Tegra 3.

Are some of these benchmarktests optimized for Quadcore gpu?

Who cares!!! Buy what you like and want thats best for you.

Actually, I want to see the real world performance result. Because of we will running the real world apps. Most of 3D apps for the new iPad, use the lower resolution graphic because it can not get the performance with the actual retina resolution. More ever, CPU processing power is far behind of The competitors, the off screen test is not a CPU processing test. Because it involve the graphic kernel also. If just show 2x performance, what will happen at 4x resolution ? They have tested with the bug fixed version of Egypt ? (2.1.3 or newer)

We clearly understand, 1. Quad graphic is much faster than Dual graphic core2. CPU speed of the new iPad is similar with iPad2 even little lower due to the extra software kernel 3. A5x processor is slower than Tegra 34. Graphic performance of A5x much higher than Tegra 3 --------We bought the new iPad to enjoy the retina display. What will happen if we run similar/same graphic software at iPad2,iPad3Gen,Prime ? Can we get the playable frame rate from iPad 3gen with Retina Resoultion? Or we need to scarify the most advanced feature of the new iPad ?

Dont forget the software.

Bored *yawn*
-
probably not optimized for quad core but i can tell you i have used all these devices and the transformer destroys them all by far

Well, if only compare the specs, I would like choose the new iPad.As I went to the Apple sale store tried the New iPad, I really like the the retina display and better camera. And would upgrade to the iPad 3 soon! Hope my apps are compatible to the new iPad, and get more surprise with the new iPad and Apple TV! And I found some cool iPad tips&Apps from iFunia iPad Column, are very informative and useful.

But still..ipad 3 overheats..and those other 3 dont, bottom line im not getting a "hot" pad in near future..

Asus Transformer Prime is the way to go:1.Flash support2. Micro-SD card support 3. HDMI Output
-
Not to mention that I do own iPad2 with REGRET. My daughter is a college student and she was very frustrated when she was unable to view her class material using the iPad due to lack of flash support. And I wasn't able to view my News articles due to flash support as well....... BAD APPLE
-
Technically, Apple can support flash support using Camera Kit, or they can open a channel (API) for the developer to use the extra storage. I do not understand why they still locked. Maybe they have some reason ~ (BT profile, USB access ....)

Even Adove will stop supporting mobile Flash....

Nice, an ign article gets featured

Flash is dead on mobile and tablets ... Adobe has stopped developing Flash !
-
Flash is only dead on Apple products. Just because you can't see it on your iToy, doesn't mean that it is not there. Millions of Facebook fans would be quite upset without Flash.
-
I have found the ASUS Transformer a better overall experience compared to the ipad3 in terms of day to day usage.
-
I think Apple made the right decision to stop putting the Flash on their devices with coming of html5 we will loose flash on many platforms.
-
Are u blind? Adobe has stopped flash development for mobile devices.
