Apple Starts Sending Emails to Australian Customers Offering Refunds For Confusion Over iPad 3's 4G Capabilities
Last week, Apple was forced to update its Australian website after the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) raised concerns over the use of the 4G term in advertising the new iPad by Apple and its carrier partners.
Apple had also agreed to send an email to new iPad customers in Australia offering refunds to customers who felt that they were misled by the use of the "4G" term.
