Rumor: Apple to Launch iPad Mini Priced at $249 to $299 In Q3
Kotaku reports that Apple is gearing up to launch a smaller and cheaper iPad mini in the third quarter of this year, according to a report Chinese website - NetEase.
Kotaku reports:
NetEase claimed that the device will be released around the third quarter of this year to "counter attack" the upcoming Windows tablets. The report further claims that the devices will cost anywhere from US$249 to $299 and that there will be an initial 6 million units ready for launch.

You guys should do a PSA news article about the Mobile Substrate update... if you hold up on the volume button at bootup, it will now disable mobile substrate addons - which could save someone's iPhone from having to be restored if it has errors causing it to continuously crash at bootup.

Why do we need something between an iPhone and an iPad? Let Microsoft worry about that.

They wouldn't be a company who sells "premium" products if they did this. They have always had a small share in the PC market but that didn't mean making a more "accessible" MAC PC. Why would they do this with their huge share and the tablet market?
