Greenpeace Activists Stage Protest At Apple's European HQ Over Data Center Energy Usage
In a recently released report titled "How Clean is your Cloud?," Greenpeace, an environmental NGO, slammed Apple along with Twitter and Amazon for their use of "dirty energy" to power their data centers.
According to Greenpeace's estimates, Apple's data centers get just 15 percent of their total energy requirements from clean energy sources, depending on coal and nuclear energy for the rest. Apple scored three "D"s and an "F" in the report.

Wait until you see how green Microsoft's new data center will be.

Bill Gates gave away a ridiculous amount of money to fight hunger on sub-developed countries, and still continues to do so.Steve Jobs did not. What has that to do with this? Nothing.Just like Microsoft has nothing to do with Apple's new datacenter. Kinda retarded comment.

no, I was saying Microsoft's new data center will be really green unlike Apple's data center.

Greenpeace is nothing but a bunch of idiot communist. They don't want any of use to have any technology.

You should get facts before you post ****

Are you that completely clueless?First: What the hell does communism have to do with technology? Communist nations utilize plenty of technology. In fact one of the largest communist nations in the world makes most of the technology for the rest of it ... Hello China....Second: Greenpeace doesn't bike to their rallies, they get there using technology. Plane, boats, automobiles. Look into their mission statements. they aren't against the use of technologies. That would be the Amish. Greenpeace is for the responsible use of technology. IE Use green energy. Renewable sources like Solar power, wind power, or tidal generators. The US alone could be 100% self sufficient on green energy with the installation of windmills across the plains state. Every Coal fired and oil fired power plant could be shut down. Is that a stop of technology? No! Thats moving forward using modern technology to get us out of the dark ages of greedy capitalist that continue to feed the oil barons, and keep us dependent on the mideast. If we didn't need oil no one would care about that patch of sand or the people that live there. The only "idiot" is the one too arrogant and blind to think for themselves and release their mind from the BS fed to them by the media. Louis.... Open your eyes time to choose .. red pill or blue pill.
