Rumor: Apple to Use Thinner In-Cell Touch Panels in Next Generation iPhone
Taiwanese website DigiTimes reports that based on their sources in Apple's supply chain, Apple may use in-cell touch panels in the next generation iPhone from Sharp and Toshiba Mobile Display (TMD).
DigiTimes reports:
An improvement in yield rates of the in-cell touch panels at Sharp and TMD has persuaded Apple to choose to cooperate with Japan-based panel makers, the sources noted.

The next iPhone will look like a boat anchor with an outdated smaller screen and basically have issues like all the rest of apples stuff as of late. But it will say apple on it and us being the mindless consumers we are will buy it to say we have the newest model, Now won't we???
