Apple Files Claim With WIPO to Gain Control of iPhone5.com Domain
Ever since Apple launched iPhone 4S, it has been widely debated if Apple will call the next generation iPhone "the new iPhone" like the new iPad, or iPhone 6 as its the sixth generation iPhone or call it iPhone 5, which still seems to be quite popular even though rumors of a redesigned iPhone 5 launch last year didn't turn out to be accurate.

Haha why would they be fined for that? If anything, they'll get paid a good amount of money by Apple, as it should be. If you're not actually marketing a product called the iPhone 5 using that domain name, there's nothing in law that says it's illegal to own a domain name that includes a copyrighted word (it's really just dumb of Apple to not have bought it years ago).

That again is just stupid who cares if someone has a site called IPhone5.com why in the world should Apple care and by what right could they possibly hope to gain the rights to a domain name. I think this intellectual property rights stuff is completely out of control. I don't see people sueing each other because another company's tv set is flat or uses led technology or has a menu. I thing the people behind some of these stupid intellectual law suits are just plain waisting tax dollars and hampering the consumer. Who really cares that all phones look simmular or function simmulary your tv, toaster, toilet, washer and dryer heck everything else you use everyday does what makes your cell phone any different? Nothing!!! Apple get off the soap box I'm really getting tired of hearing you whine like little girls about every stupid little thing....,. God Grow Up
