Shazam is an Awesome App is really impressive to see it working. But I'm pretty sure they don't send the audio file because it works to fast recognizing the music, looks like it sends another file format.

this really has to be one of the best, most revolutionary program for the iphone. Now I will never be clueless of the name of a song I like on the radio.

This article failed to explain how 'Shazam' is different from 'Listen'. Which one is better? Which should I download?
Also, 3 million songs does not seem like that many. This tool would be most useful to find the names of really rare songs that you hear but noone around you can tell you what it is, ITunes rarely even stocks these rare songs so it is unlikely that Shazam will have them in their database either.
I will download the app now and see how good it is.
