what is the big deal w/ the new installer? i think cydia works just fine -- just waiting for apps to populate!

Cydia > Installer.
Cydia is built on top of a decade-old package management system. It is pretty tried and true. All these new features install is boasting about have been around in Cydia for awhile.
We already have a great package management system on 2.0 - we don't need installer. Not sure why installer has so much hype.

dude thats harsh man, installer has stuck with you for so long, and now you just say that its useless...i mean come on. how would the developers take that...thats just unfair. Maybe Cydia is good, i BET installer 4 will be better...

I'm not for or against either Cydia or Installer and I spose some competition is healthy, but I do think that there should only be one. I would love to see the two teams collaborate and make one truly great app.

excuse my ignorance but how do you upload or transfer the installer app folder to the application at winscp. ive tried drag and drop. copy and paste. it doesnt seem to work. help needed please

I've downloaded WinSCP, and it refuses the connection all the time. I'm typing the ip address, username: root and password: alpine and it doesn't work. PLEASE Help me!
