wow, that sounds like a giant leap backward in terms of user interface. If that's been coded, I suspect what's holding up it's release is the one or two sane ui developers still employed by apple digging their heels in and pleading for the sake of their stock options to prevent it from ever seeing the light of day. let us hope than sense prevails over eyecandy at the expense of functionality.

All I want is proper MMS support. That's it. Everything else would be extra.

True mms should be standard whats the matter with apple...

Massive keyboard improvements would be a big win.

WOW! I've always wanted my Safari browser to be SLIGHTLY different! Who needs copy/paste when i can see TWO search bars at once??!
Come on Apple get with it. Stop holding out on us and just give us the features we want - copy/paste, push, flash, etc. Also, for MMS, I just went and bought SwirlyMMS. It may cost a little but it works perfectly once you set it up correctly. Course it relies on you jailbreaking but since this is iPhone Hacks I suspect most of you have done that :P.

Search is already only one tap away. That's what the magnifying glass icon does - it puts you in the search box with one tap.

Hey: email management just sucks. You cannot manage Exchange emails if you are not connected to the Internet + you have no options to download attachments as default (parameter xx kbytes or something like that) + copy/paste features that is mandatory (if you are in Safari and wants to copy some text to email or something like taht) + MMS + PPT viewer + XLS/DOC editing

My Safari is like that already... on 2.1

How about just being able to invite persons from your address book to meetings you schedule on the iphone? Or the ability to propose an alternative date/time for a meeting invitation you receive? Seems like the iphone is the perfect machine for autistic people who's lives center around their phone rather than around social relationships.
