This could be good news as it could mean my favourite browser could be coming to iPhone.
My iPhone is great but it will be so much better with Opera -

One thing that has not been mentioned is that as Opera mini compresses the web page significantly (in my experience up to 75%), download costs will be reduced. This mean reduced income for Apple's exclusive partners which they won't like! So I suspect Opera Mini may be be rejected if and when it is submitted.

My next phone wont be the iphone. I am moving on over back to the palm (webOS). atleast they don't have any of this BS, and anyone can make anything they want for that device.
Anyways IPAD will flop, becuase of all the limitations. Who needs an oversized garbage. $$$ better spent on a laptop or netbook that has a sd slot. -
1...If there's communication outside usual channels, and if they (Opera) would know it would be rejected under the SDK, why waste time, effort and money on the project for it to fail at the first?
2...If Apple won't release through Appstore and the product IS working on an iPhone, then why not go whole hog and 'leak' it via a Cydia repo (sorry apple, a disgruntled employee must have uploaded the .ipa/.deb file in protest) HINT HINT!!!
