Apple to Unveil Thinner MacBook Pro With Retina Display, NVIDIA Graphics Chip, Flash Memory at WWDC 2012
Yesterday, we reported that Apple is planning to launch the new thinner 15-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display and support for USB 3.0 later this summer.
Bloomberg has confirmed the report and claims that according to their source, Apple will unveil the new MacBook Pro models at the WorldWide Developer Conference 2012 that starts on June 11.

What is the fascination with a thinner laptop? Does it cost less than previous ones? I always wonder that.

I wonder that too, but all i can put it down too is tech becoming smaller and lighter but able to produce more power etc through tweaks. my 2009 macbook pro had the same stability and spec as a huge pc tower back then. Its one of apples good tricks, take somin big n turn it little.

Ive owned 2 generation of Macbook Pros and they are great laptops. Eventually I switched back to the PC though. I just kerp keep the MacBook pro around now for IOS development.
