Apple Wins WIPO Dispute; Gains Control of iPhone5.com Domain
Last week, we reported that Apple had filed a claim with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to gain control of the iPhone5.com domain.
The Next Web reports that the status of the case, which was 'Case Active', has changed to "Terminated" on WIPO's website, indicating that Apple has won the dispute.

And all of a sudden the WIPO board of directors are driving new cars and living the good life What a coincidence. I didn't know Apple owned the intellectually property to something that doesn't exist. That's a new one on me. That's almost like a company coming out and saying they have the rights to the name Ipad. Wait a minute, that already happened. lol What a phony world we live in indeed.

Yeah. They been outlawed people buying up domains names and selling them for ridiculous prices. This is the right thing. Cold, but right.
