Obama, Clinton, Bono Pay Tribute To Steve Jobs At Webby Awards [Video]
At the Webby awards held yesterday in New York, President Obama, President Clinton, George Lucas and a number of other luminaries paid tribute to Apple's former CEO Steve Jobs, who passed away last year.
Justin Long and John Hodgman, the actors from the "I'm a Mac" TV commercials, introduced the tribute video, composed of video shorts of various celebrities talking about Steve Jobs, and thanking him for his contributions.

Can someone please tell me exactly what he did that people revere him so much? What did he make? I understand he was the CEO when they launched the iPod, iTunes, iPhone, and iPad but did he actually come up with these products himself? Or did he want a certain product and have his team create it and he signed off on it? I would seriously like to know.

He asked his team to come up with the iPod. He's the man behind Pixax = Toy Story. I could go on.Is it not allowed to post a link here on iphonehacks? My last comment have been erased.

Like most things the idea for an iPod like device came from elsewhere http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1053152/Apple-admit-Briton-DID-invent-iPod-hes-getting-money.html

Pixar, got apple of the ground after troubled times, the list goes on and on and on

it's funny how you mention 1 thing then say "the list goes on and on and on".

Obama always has to break the theme. He said more than five words. What a douche...

Steve Jobs changed the entire world with his visionary outset and revamping of wireless media and communications. He’ll be a name which rings out through history for evolving the way we live, share and communicate. I was compelled to create a portrait of him, now In Memoriam on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/08/end-of-era-steve-jobs.html
