Apple Removes Airfoil Speakers Touch From The App Store
Rogue Amoeba's Airfoil Speakers Touch, an audio receiver app for iOS devices, has been yanked from the App Store just a few weeks after its third version, with AirPlay receiving capabilities, was approved.
The developers of the app, on their blog, write:

Even if it "duplicates functionality", in my opinion that isn't enough reason to pull an app from the app store... all of the web browsers "duplicate functionality" of the mobile safari browser but you don't see apple pulling them from the app store...

30 year ago, Apple invented the first succesfull commercially available PC (Apple II). Some time thereafter, they made the GUI commercially available ("borrowed" it from XEROX Parc) (MacIntosh). And because of their egocentrism and closed ecosystem, they almost dissapeared from the scene.....Now, the story is repeating.......great innovations, but they are going egocentric again, and I bet the same will happen........again........just give it some time................

They can pull this app yet every week in the Top 25 paid apps I keep seeing apps that are scams, especially fake lockscreen apps.
