Mine didnt work as well. When it was backing my ipod up. towards 76% or 82% it says Jailbreak fail error 2000

You can try this: Backup your iPod touch to iTunes and/or iCloud and restore it using iTunes and before restoring it from the backup ... try using Redsn0w to jailbreak it.

I tried to jailbreak my ipod 5.1.1 and everything works just fine except the last step. Where the ipod reboots its self. My ipod reboots but on my labtop it says "waiting for reboot" it just stops there and doesnt do anything

If I jailbreak with out putting it into dfu mode will I lose all my apps? And if I do put it into dfu mode does it matter if I do it before or after plugging it into the computer?

Ive really wanted to clone an app for the longest time but i haven't gotten around to jailbreaking my ipod yet. I have a 3G Ipod using ios 5.1.1 and everytime I try to jailbreak it with redsn0w, i get a pop up message saying that there was no device detected. Then i get pissed off because my ipod is left in DFU mode. Besides Redsn0w ive tried to use absinth but it always seems to crash when i try to use it. If there is anybody who can help me, I would really appreciate some feedback?

When I open Cydia, It says "preparing filesystem (Cydia will exit when complete)" but it just turns my ipod off and starts all over, it has done it like 5 times already.

I have tried this for 3 hours now....All I get is Service wont start. I have wiped my 4S and nothing. This is a joke, I am just going back to normal.....Anyone know of a much much easier way? Anyone heard of this? :
