WWDC 2012 Banner Confirms Apple Will Unveil iOS 6; Switch to Silver-Colored Theme
If you were worried that Apple will name their next generation mobile operating system the new iOS like the new iPad then you can relax as new banner going...

iThink this new theme looks really good! Its a very natural progression in UI design... IF! It happens! Just because there is a silver banner doesn't mean that Apple have confirmed it. I hope it does though!

Can't wait ... Monday cannot come soon enough!

water ripples.... inspired by nature, designed for humans
oh wait, wrong phone..... -
New maps, NFC...

Really ???
Who cares ????
-
water ripples, like sound waves, like they bought a sound editing company in italy? hmm this sounds very much like a spoof of the Davinci code?
-
either way, I like it. Remember way back when they did the first iOS update and if you were an iPod touch user you had to pay for the update?
-
I honestly like the new silver-colored theme. I hope this remains to be true because the blue one is boring me out.
-
Funny that they are using the water ripple, seeing how Samsung released that on the S3. Idea stealing sheep. Fanboy's follow Apple, and Apple follows Samsung. Next thing you know Apple will try to patent the widget.

You could try a user friendly OS like Android that lets you skin and theme. Anyone ever found out why Apple wont let you do this? IOS is kinda like a dictatorship isn't it? You COULD do it, you're just not allowed
-
Mac OSX also doesn't allow themes and skinning (although you can get applications that allow some degree of customisation), and quite frankly, I don't care too much about it, their UI is simple, intuitive, and elegant. It was built to be that way; to be unobtrusive and and not get in the way of what you need to do.
Having said that, a lot of my friends have iPhones and being able to customise the UI would be a great way to personalise your phone. -

Well if they let us do as we want iOS would end up like everything else full of junk and maybe unstable ....they.... I mean..... We can't let that happen next thing you know people will want to own the phones they use and even customize them NO NO NO cant have that..........

The ripples signify waterproofing

The water ripples are just from the wallpaper that the new iPad uses. This will just be the new default wallpaper that the new iPhone uses! iOS4 & iOS5 both showed the water droplet background which was the default iPhone wallpaper over that period.

@Shaunn you're spot on!

I thought EVERYBODY knew about Jailbreaking by now... Apparently not.
My iPhone 4S has a customizable weather/clock widget on the Springboard, totally custom icons, and an RSS reader.
AND... I don't have to worry about getting iPhone envy because I HAVE one AND it's totally customized to my liking. -

haha! was going to say just that
