So i can downgrade my baseband but my iphone 3Gs has only 8Gb.. It doesn't matter..? :(

what about bricked bb? Redns0w had an error before, didnt prevent you updating bb to 06.15.00 even if you had 3gs with new bootrom... maybe it can also fix that now?

@Cicmil it seems to be limited to ability to downgrade, but we'll let you know we get any more details.

Other than GPS is there any advantage of having the lower BB's over the 06.15.00? Like better battery life?

@mystic no other advantage ... but isomeone who is stuck with that baseband with no gps will tell you how glad they are it will be possible soon.

Seems to me that a lot is being read into musclenerds post - he only said that he'd made progress. But it's nice to know it's still being worked on as I had given up thinking about it (my car has a SatNav built in and my wife's Nokia has Nokia Maps - so no GPS hasn't been a huge problem anyway). I'm not holding my breath.

In anticipation of the release of the 06.15 and GPS fix. You should all get ready :) by following this to avoid any pesky iTunes errors: http://dishingtech.blogspot.com.au/2012/06/061500-downgrade-gps-fix-for-all-3gs-3g.html That means latest iTunes, save SHSH blobs, backup and download your IPSWs :)
