Offline Maps won't be available on iPhone 3GS. 3D Maps and turn-by-turn navigation won't be available in iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS

@iPhoneHacks i wish it was like that but i dont think its possible. Too many GBytes of maps from all world. I imagine it will be like google maps now, internet feed to download the live content

for offline you could have one layer of maps that shows street names, no ability to zoom in or out and obviously not 3d stuff
