iphone 3gs 5.1.1 no service/searching / no modem firmware

i upgraded my iphone 3gs from iOS 4.1 to iOS 5.1.1. i used snowbreeze to make a custom IPSW and installed it. but after the installation/update on iTunes, my 3gs doesnt have signal anymore and also it doesnt show the baseband/modem firmware. please help me.thanks

@jerosel you need to install Ultrasn0w from Cydia to unlock your iPhone (assuming your iPhone's still at 01.59.00) as only that baseband is supported by Ultrasn0w

but how can i know my baseband? and how can i connect to cydia and install Ultrasnow if i dont have a network coverage? -
Launch the Settings app and navigate to General -> About - > Modem Firmware (this should be 05:13:04 or lower). You can always connect to a Wi-Fi network.

thanks for the immediate respone iPhonehacks. that's another point because i cant see my MODEM FIRMWARE,its blanked. ive also mentioned that problem at the start of the discussion. -

Even iTunes shows the BB I guess. If that doesn't work try Tiny Umberella. hope fully one of them should show

i tried both (itunes and TU) and neither of them showed the BB.

well you just have to believe it because im not the only person that have this problem.ive already read other people also having this problem but havent encountered yet the right solution. give me a minute and ill post the screenshot
