WHY we want to have a bigger screen ?

I think that there are two reasons
First, want to see more information is a screen.
Second, want to bigger text and graphic elements.
From last months, the taller design has rumored in this forum,
Personally, i have so disappointed about this changing if it is true.
Because of only increase the length of screen, it just can help to increase the amount of information in a screen.
and, very limited to increase the text & graphic elements to easy view and control.
I think, most of users who want to have a bigger screen, wish to see more bigger and clear screen.
I want to clam it is the worst idea for the bigger screen design.
Most of apps in store not support this new screen ratio and resolution,
Will experience the dark band,
Maybe only advantage is the video playing, if the video is wider design,
How do you think ?

Yup, the 16:9 ratio would be pretty awkward when using the phone in landscape mode, but then I trust Apple to do something about that, not sure what though.
