Is there an option to turn off automatic photo upload when you are not on WiFi, so you don't get charged when you are on 3G ?

How long does it take one to gain the additional 3GB? Is it every time you upload or everyday you have it?

@DennyCool By default, the photos and videos are uploaded only when you're connected to a Wi-Fi network. You can enable the feature to upload over cellular network via the Settings tab in the app, as you can see in the screenshot below.

@Nitsud, we're not sure but we're assuming that the "Camera Uploads" folder gets 500 MB storage and Dropbox adds 500 MB storage every time you hit the limit (until it reaches 3 GB).

I'm using it on both iPhone and iPad and is working fine (app is passlock unchecked). Dropbox gives you 500MB with the first photo upload and then 500MB more every time your fill the previous 500MB, to a top of 3GB. It works no matter if you are uploading from a device of from your PC.

When does the free space get applied? I updated the app and did everything I was supposed to and still no additional space on my account. I even took new photos and allowed them to upload just in case it didn't apply to old photos on my phone. Uggghhhh.

@WeCi2i We're not sure when it got added, but we've already received our first 500MB free space ... so it should be updated in less than 12 to 24 hours.

I wonder if this 3GB is in adition to that previously offered during the beta update of the PC version?

It should be in addition to it.
