iphone 4s jailbreak/unlock noob question...

*** NOOB ALERT***
so i have an iphone 4s its already unlocked and jail broken thats how i purchased it. specs are.
Version 5.0 (9a3340
carrier AT&T 11.0 but i want to use it with T-Mobile
Modem Firmware 1.0.11
What do i need to do to update to the latest Version? Update my phone to 5.1.1 and then use Absinthe 2.0 and re-jailbrake and will my Modem Firmware being 1.0.11 an issue? Will i loose my UNLOCK if i do this?

Is it a factory unlocked iPhone? or Are you using hardware solution like Gevey Ultra S SIM. There is no software method to unlock iPhone 4S so preserving your baseband won't help.

It does have a Gevey Ultra S SIm. so in other words i dont have to worry about the unlock right since its using the Gevey sim. so is it safe to update to 5.1.1 and do the jailbreak?

You need to check if Gevey sim is compatible with iOS 5.1.1. If is compatible then you don't need to worry.
