@xtremee Yeah, that will be a major put off for future Windows Phone users. I see it as one of the advantages of Apple's integrated software and hardware platform. While some of the iOS 6 features are not going to be available on older idevices, your iPhone won't become obsolete within 3 months.
Android has a similar problem as even though it has been 9 months since ICS has been released, only 7% have been able to upgrade to it. That's why I advise my friends who want to opt for a Android based smartphone to opt for Google's flagship phone - Galaxy Nexus as it would be one of the first devices to get the latest and greatest software update.
It also highlights how short term companies like Microsoft are currently thinking as they play catch up with Apple. -
You could take windows phone out for a spin on your iPhone through safari via the Microsoft Wp demo http://aka.ms/wpdemo in close proximity i gotta say, it's not bad at all.
