    Would be nice for it to be quad core and 2gb of ram but won't be surprised if apple doesnt go that route they tend to march to the beat of their own drum and not what other people are doing usually

    Looking at the current dual core giddup in the ipad 2/3 and iphone 4s, and the overall performance, I really dont see the need of a quad core in a smart phone. Other OEMs might include them based on the OS that runs on their devices but with iOS, unless iOS6 is majorly rewritten, a quad would just be a waste of resources and what about the battery life, that would be affected as well.

    Rather see more ram and 4G... If they add a quad core processor it would be over kill. The reason everyone else uses quad core is because the OS is heavier...
