this is the stupidest thing I have ever seen. No offense, just stupid though. It takes away the clean lines that the original dock has.

I would buy one. I too love the retro look. It's like a time capsule with the marriage of the old and the new: a sort of "look how far we've come" art piece.
@Brian Waste of a nice old phone? Doesn't that seem redundant? No one uses these phones anymore. In fact, more and more single homes don't even have a land line (except for DSL), so I find this a great "green" project.
