    Just holding on the screen for a second does the same as the home button, they'd have no need to increase the size.

    A dedicated itunes app would need a wireless antenna and more powerful hardware, the entire point of the newest ipod nano is to be tiny, extremely easy to carry around and be efficient - it easily lasts 24 hours of constant music, something which it won't do with more powerful hardware.

    They might just be rewamping the rectangular ipod nano though, while keeping the small one around as well. The small one is fine as it is, but for someone wanting a bit more in the device a new rectangular would be amazing.

    As an update to the newest ipod nano? No.

    As an update to the older versions? Maybe.

    I agree! I am one of "those guys" that wear mine as a watch. So naturally I want the form factor to stay the same but add Bluetooth functionality that syncs w my iPhone and let us download new faces and I'm happy!
