My Jailbroken apps will not work

I have my Iphone and Ipad both Jailbroken. Now I just sync'd them to my Imac but I am not able to get any to work. EX: I downloaded and installed "DJ Mixer Pro" and from my Itunes I clicked on it and I am getting NO result. Nothing. Nothing at all happens. I am new with Jailbreaking and just as new with Apple, Iphone, Ipad and my new Imac. Am I missing something. doing something wrong?
