I recently installed PdaNet on my iPhone 3GS. It installed correctly and I can activate the WiFi hotspot. I go to the Settings menu on my iPad and I can see the hotspot in the Network list. I choose it and it appears to make the connection; the checkmark appears by the network name. As soon as I launch Safari or try to check my email, though, the connection disappears and I get a message that it is not connected to the Internet. I am using DHCP and HTTP proxy is off. I have altered these settings, but it makes no difference. Neither does rebooting both devices. The iPhone connects to my home network just fine, as does my my iPad. Anyone had this problem? Anyone have any ideas?
