You're really not lucky in U.S. with the unlocking of your iPhone because in France, all owners of Apple smartphones including myself, may formally request the unlocking after 3 months of subscription contract and it will soon also be possible with iPhones prepaid cards. Good luck and bybye guys...

You can buy and unlock code on Ebay for 50+ bucks and it works just fine.

I Purchased the IMEI unlock from IrepairIndia and on top of having AMAZING customer service they are polite and prompt. I payed the stated 85 dollars plus the PayPal commission and it totaled 88.4 dollars. I would recommend anyone who is Iffy about using this way of unlocking your iPhone to use it internationally.
