Just ran the update and would like to revert back to factory defaults. However, when I select "Erase All Content and Settings" it restarts and freezes on a black screen with the white busy logo. Is it possible to remove the software?

Actually, figured it out. Went to iTunes and did "restore". That took the hacks off the iPad and now it appears to be working normally.

Honestly all I wanted to do was to load some PDFs from my PC to the iPad. Not sure if anyone can recommend a more legit way of going about doing that.

    Thanks.

@Rolex Install iBooks, drag and drop the PDFs in iTunes, select the pdfs in the Books tab in iTunes when you're syncing your iOS device, and the pfds should appear in iBooks. Or you could simply mail the pdfs to your self, and open it on your iPad in your favorite pdf reader app. (mine is Good reader)

Cloudreader is great for wifi transfer if you need to get pdf's to the ipad from a different computer but a bit slow.
