How long does it generally take for respring to occur

I used redsnow to jb my Iphone4 5.1.1 & it ran through the wizzard in no time but I seem to be stuck on the Sucess screen & will not allow me to click the next button. Is there a general wait time ie: 45mins-2hrs?? Anyone familiar?? Thanks in advance!!! Oh what will happen if i manually push the home screen on the iphone will I cause damage?
