JAILBREAKING IPHONE 3GS ISSUE

Hey guys, i recently jail broken my phone using redsn0w -> cydia, and i seem to be having a few issues.
My main issue is i can't seem to be opening my messages, texts of course. It keeps crashing.
If anyone can help me it would be appreciated, since im a girl and cant go without texting

    You could try hard reset by holding your power button and home button until your phone powers off does the trick gfor me when my apps dont open. it should turn on by itself , if not i had a problem where my camera stayed on black screen when opened , only thing that fixed that issue was a restore but since ios6 is latest out your best to save your shsh blobs with tiny umbrella.
