my phone won't appear in itunes to restore

after jailbreaking it, i got a message saying that the firmware was not compatible, so i went to unjailbreak it and after the download i got an error message 1601 and now it won't even appear in itunes. i am soooo freaked out! someone please help me! what do i do???

it means you have been trying to upgrade to a firmware that is not signed by apple anymore
