iPad 3 baseband, is there way to call AT

Hi, I know that the original iPad 3G gsm modem is able to making calls or sending text messages just via AT commands using ttys device, so I thinking why iPad 2 or iPad 3 can not do the same? it just timeout if I trying call AT, guess Apple done some security fixes for new iPads, is there way to make new iPad modem works like it was in original iPad? maybe someone tried restore original baseband firmware in to iPad2/3 or someone knows some magic addresses to path. just wanna get my iPad modem work like real modem, not like dataTransferViaGsmShit

iPad 3 is not supported...I believe they got the same issues with baseband like me.
