I see no advantages from staying in jail break. I think I jail-broke it using evasiOn. I have tried restore (not from backup) from iTunes. I've tried full reset everything, then restore from backup. I've tried the DFU mode approach. None have worked; Cydia & 1 other associated apps are still on the iPhone I think I'm stuck on iOS 6.1.2 which I think is caused by the jailbreak.
I'm open to anything that works, but please explain fully the procedure: the only thing I need to understand is exactly how to do it. I've had an iPhone for the first time last Nov. 2012.

What do you mean by nothing works? Please let us know what error you're getting. We may be able to help.
