iphone problems when trying to restore with ithunes

All goes well until ithunes says: preparing iphone for restore.
After that, the problem is that the iphone restarts and says ERROR ithunes 1611.
Please help me get something that works for me, I've tried several ways and I could not do it.

Check if you have any host files entries for apple.com in your host file. If so delete them and try restoring again.
