Can't restore to iOS 6.1.2 with the correct blobs and stitched IPSW?

I had a tweak that bricked my ipod touch 4g so I went about restoring it back to 6.1.2. I didn't have the correct blobs but was still able to get them off of iFaith (went to show available SHSH Caches on Server and downloaded the correct blobs from TSS servers) and stitched a IPSW together. I put the iPod in pwnedDFU mode but when I went to restore in iTunes I would get the iFaith logo on my iPod and the loading bar wouldn't move and after a few seconds iTunes would give me "The iPod "iPod" could not be restored. An unknown error occured (40)" I have tried everything and I still have not been able to get it to work. I would rather not upgrade to 6.1.3 and hope Winocm comes out with his untethered jailbreak because otherwise I'd be fucked since the iPod 4g can't upgrade to iOS 7 :/
